Norway is a wonderfully beautiful country with its breathtaking surroundings, mountains, deep fjords and lush valleys. We spent two weeks on the road, being able to visit the top destinations, turning our journey into the most spectacular driving experience we ever had. Road trip is a good way to see more in a short time, bringing the freedom to stop in whatever place we want to enjoy the spectacular view and to take photos.
Some of the best picks for a road trip in Norway:
Gudbrandsjuvet
Trollstigen called The Troll’s Road, is a 106 km long mountain road, protected Unesco Site. Time flews easily while we strolled around, admiring the road and waterfalls from the viewing platform. Simply amazing.
Atlantic Road is more than a route, is known as the world’s most beautiful drive it takes you right out to the ocean’s edge
Dalsnibba is the Europe’s highest fjordview from a road, offer a spectacular view over snow-covered peaks as well as all the way down to Geirangerfjord.
The Geirangerfjord, UNESCO World Heritage Site

I am in awe of how beautiful Norway is! It must feel a bit like seeing something no one has seen before (even though hundreds of people see it every day!), it all looks so peaceful and untouched. And how lucky that you got some sunny days! Norway is definitely climbing on my to-visit list 🙂
