It is awe inspiring to embrace the beauty of Magnolia trees along the way.
The blooming season has finally arrived and the first signs of sprig seem to urge you to spend more and more time outside.
I have discovered plenty of Magnolia trees in Bucharest during my recent walks. There are different types of Magnolia which bloom at different times of the season from late March to late April. Below I have listed the main locations where you will find the most impressive and beautiful Magnolia trees in Bucharest, some of them are still in full bloom right now.
Where to find the most beautiful Magnolia in Bucharest, Romania
- Bucharest Botanical Garden, address: Soseaua Cotroceni 32, Bucuresti. This is also my favorite place to escape, the garden is a tranquil and pleasant place, especially during the mornings. The Magnolia trees located here bloom later so you will find it in full bloom right now.
- Cotroceni Neighbourhood is also the part of Bucharest that still keeps the charm of early 20th-century architecture: tea houses, fountains, beautiful gardens and magnolia trees. One of my favorite magnolia, and the most recent discovered, sits just in the front of the house of Serban Cioculescu, Romanian critic.
- State Circus Park (Parcul Circului), address: Bulevardul Lacul Tei 27, Bucuresti. Just in the middle of the park sits an impressive pink magnolia tree. If you want to photograph it during a sunny day, the best time is before 08:00 a.m. or at noon.
- Mahatma Gandi Street is probably the most popular among the Magnolia trees hunters.
- National Bank of Romania, address: Strada Lipscani 25, București 030167.
